ELECTION UPDATE #6

Thanks to all of you who have already voted! For those who haven’t yet cast a ballot, you have just a few remaining days to participate in the 2021 AOG Election. The time is now!

CLASSES BATTLE IT OUT
The leader remains the same — the Class of 1966 is at 60.5%! A number of other classes — 1969,1975 and 1972 — are close behind in the standings! Who will come out on top on March 22?

Overall, the election stands at 24.68% of eligible voters having voted. That leaves less than 1% of the required quorum percentage (25%). Will yours be the one vote that gets us past the magic number?

For those who haven’t voted, please take a few moments today to help guide the future direction of your alumni association!

AS A REMINDER: The class from each decade with the highest percentage of voters during the election will receive a $500 donation to its Class Fund. Bragging rights for your class are at stake!!

ELECTION DETAILS
You should have received a ballot by now from Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS), the company conducting the 2021 election. The email or letter from SBS includes your election-specific “AOG Member Number” and “Election Passcode.”

PLEASE NOTE: There are two parts to the ballot — the Bylaw Change and Board Director election. Be prepared prior to voting and double-check your ballot before submitting! Once you’ve cast your ballot, you cannot change it.
