Association of Graduates

Dear Association of Graduates Legacy Members:

In early January, the Association of Graduates opened an exciting new chapter in our history by extending membership, at no cost, to all Air Force Academy graduates.

This decision involved substantial member feedback and discussions with other prestigious alumni organizations. After careful consideration, the AOG Board of Directors voted unanimously to expand membership to all USAFA graduates, leading to the January rollout.

Expanding membership to all graduates is possible because of your commitment as a legacy member. As the saying goes, “We are sitting in the shade today because someone else planted a tree a long time ago.” Your generosity has helped to establish and strengthen the AOG over many decades, and we are now well-positioned to serve graduates for decades to come.

Since we launched the initiative on January 3, nearly 1,700 graduates have newly joined the AOG. Welcoming more graduates into our alumni association energizes the Long Blue Line, expands networking opportunities, and increases support to our Academy in developing leaders of character for our Air Force, Space Force, and Nation.

We are not requesting any action from you today. Instead, our letter is intended to thank you for paving the way for Membership for All Graduates and recognize your impact. Additionally, we will be further recognizing your contributions through a special legacy member recognition program soon to be announced. Look for more information by April 1, 2022, Founders Day.

Thank you, again, for your loyal support of our AOG and paving the way for membership to expand to all Air Force Academy graduates.

Sincerely,

Bob Lowe Will Gunn

P.S. Please stay tuned for a survey of all Air Force Academy graduates. The survey results will help inform how our AOG can best serve and be relevant to you going forward.
