U.S. News & World Report ranked the U.S. Air Force Academy as one of the nation's best undergraduate educational institutions in its annual "Best Colleges" report released on Sept. 18. USAFA jumped past West Point in national liberal arts and public school rankings.

“Our position in these rankings reflects the incredible dedication of our faculty and academic staff,” said the Dean of the Faculty Brig. Gen. Linell Letendre '96. “Our faculty and staff aren’t just experts in their fields, they put in tremendous amounts of time to improve their teaching and mentorship capabilities so that their students reach their highest potential. I am so proud to see their hard work reflected in these rankings.”

Lt. Col. Anna Gunn-Golkin '05 was appointed to the White House Fellows class of 2023-2024. Gunn-Golkin most recently served as the commander of the 3rd Test and Evaluation Squadron, leading a team of more than one hundred guardians in the development and execution of first-of-kind missions to protect and defend space capabilities.
