Class of 2023 - Prepared for Victory! |
“Commitment. Service. Dedication.” U.S. Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard Clark '86 highlighted these traits of the Class of 2023 and the 921 new second lieutenants who threw their hats in the air as the Thunderbirds flew over Falcon Stadium June 1. The Class of 2023 endured unprecedented disruption due to the global pandemic. But the class not just survived, Gen. Clark said, but also found ways to thrive and develop into the leaders of character our Air Force, Space Force and nation require.
Congratulations, Class of 2023!

"We challenge ourselves athletically in pursuit of a better self and a better nation. Our experience in Gettysburg is a reminder of what we're building within ourselves to not only succeed in our sports, but also as human beings. After exploring the battlefield, I feel motivated to lead and fight in the same way those soldiers did."
