Class of 1966 Legacy Walk part of Falcon Stadium modernization: A football game at the University of Minnesota over a decade ago catalyzed the USAFA Class of 1966’s 50th reunion gift. After members of the class, as well as Head Football Coach Troy Calhoun ’89, noticed the new stadium’s attractive brick pillar and wrought iron fence, they came to a realization: The time to update Falcon Stadium’s original chain-link fence had come. Class of 1983 check presentation: During its 40th class reunion, the Class of 1983 presented a check during the football game to celebrate their generosity in supporting the Air Force Academy. Since its last reunion, the class has raised more than $1.8 million for Academy priorities, including $900,000 for its class gift project supporting the National Character and Leadership Symposium and the Madera Cyber Innovation Center.
