Graduation for the Class of 2022 is fast approaching. As the firsties completed their last final, many took a dive into the Air Garden pools. Enjoy scenes from this year's craziness, set to celebratory music.

Sauter

A leading space expert at the U.S. Air Force Academy was sworn into the Space Force April 29, making him the first Space Force officer to be a permanent professor at the school. Col. Luke Sauter '02, head of the Department of Astronautics, said that the Academy is integral to the Space Force.

Space Day

Air Force Academy cadets enrolled in Astro 351 (Rocket Propulsion) learned about space deterrence, economics and policy from Tory Bruno, president and CEO of United Launch Alliance (ULA), on May 6 (which also happened to be National Space Day in 2022).

Calling all past USAFA Philmont Rangers! 2022 is the 50th Anniversary of the USAFA Ranger program and the Philmont Staff Association is hosting a reunion June 20-24, 2022, honoring all past Service Academy Rangers.
