National Suicide Prevention Month
September is National Suicide Prevention Month and Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mike Gould '76, AOG and Air Force Academy Foundation CEO, has issued a 22-pushup challenge to increase awareness about 22 veterans per day who die by suicide. Additionally, he's asking grads to reach out to fellow Zoomies to check up on them and offer support. Everybody has a role to play in preventing suicide.

Retired Air Force Officer Returns to Roots, Takes Up Teaching
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Christopher Ott '00's 20-year career in the Air Force has taken him to 104 countries. After retiring, he returned to his roots with the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. As the senior aerospace science instructor, he teaches the science behind that field and the history of manned flight.
