Crowdfunding Push Funds Morale Boosters for Cadet Candidates
Parents' Weekend at the USAFA Prep School was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of a crowdfunding project and parent generosity, Labor Day Weekend turned into a Husky Bash for the cadet candidates. The weekend included laser tag, trail rides on horseback, bowling, outdoor games, food trucks and an outdoor movie. The crowdfunding project raised more than $25,000 to help provide morale boosters for cadet candidates in lieu of Parents' Weekend and throughout the rest of the year.
