Stamps Leadership Scholar Video
2nd Lt. Samantha Potter '19 studied the intersection between displacement and U.S. national security as a Stamps Leadership Scholar at the Air Force Academy. Her research included a trip to Ukraine where she interviewed displaced persons, Red Cross workers and soldiers. Potter's research was made possible by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation and other donors.

AF Academy Officer To Be Promoted To Brigadier General
The Senate confirmed President Donald Trump's nomination for Col. Linell Letendre '96, head of the law department at the Air Force Academy, for promotion to brigadier general. Letendre has also been selected to be the Academy's dean, a position she will officially assume Oct. 17.

NASA Television to Cover Return of Astronaut Nick Hague, Crewmates
NASA astronaut and Expedition 60 Flight Engineer Nick Hague '98 and two crewmates on the International Space Station are scheduled to conclude their stay on the orbiting laboratory Thursday, Oct. 3. Live coverage of their return will begin at 11:45 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Oct. 2, on NASA Television and the agency's website.

Risk/Reward - Adventure Based Learning Program
A new adventure based learning program was launched at USAFA this summer. The challenge includes a 30-hour adventure race that takes rising third-class cadets to every corner of the Acadmey property. The brainchild of Lt. Col. Rob Marshall '01, ABL is a three-part program designed to enhance team building and leadership skills.
