Thirty years ago, on Nov. 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall — the ultimate sign of the Cold War and its Iron Curtain — fell. One day before this 30-year anniversary, a sculpture memorializing the historic event was unveiled at the Air Force Academy's McDermott Library.

On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at 10 a.m., there will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the USAFA Cemetery. Organizers are requesting support for this event. Young Alumni Excellence Award Nominations Now Open
Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of the recipient's outstanding professional achievements and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. Nomination deadline: Jan. 10, 2020.

Air Force men's basketball won for the first time ever at Cristl Arena in West Point, downing Army West Point, 69-57, in a hard-fought battle amongst service academy rivals Tuesday night. In the process, head coach Dave Pilipovich earned his 100th career win for the Falcons, who improved to 2-1 on the season.
