After two weeks of voting, the returns are in and two classes — 1975 and 1966 — are leading the pack when it comes to percentage of voters.

Academy Hosts Former SECDEF at Leadership Symposium
Leon E. Panetta, former Secretary of Defense and director of the Central Intelligence Agency, was the keynote speaker Thursday evening, Feb. 21, as part of the annual National Character and Leadership Symposium at the Air Force Academy, Feb. 21-22. The annual event brings together thought leaders from diverse backgrounds to speak about the importance of sound moral character and leadership.

The Academy's Academic Success Center provides mentoring and strategies for academic success for cadets, as well as assistance for graduates pursuing graduate degrees. Support for the Academic Success Center can be provided through the USAFA Endowment.

A Touch of Class
The Class of '93 created the '93 NCLS Panel Fund to help bring recipients of the Outstanding Airman of the Year award to the annual National Character and Leadership Symposium to meet with the Cadet Wing and participate in a panel discussion. While the class is still fundraising, their progress so far has helped make the 2019 NCLS Outstanding Airmen Panel possible.

Coach Wayne Baughman (wrestling), Delavane Diaz '04 (volleyball), Eric Ehn '08 (hockey), Chris Gizzi '97 (football), Gregg Popovich '70 (basketball) and 1985 football team will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Academy Officials Host Final Accreditation Town Hall Meeting
Air Force Academy officials are close to putting a stamp on the report they'll show the Higher Learning Commission in April. The report, or argument as the HLC refers to it, is a document that shows how the school stays in line with the commission's criteria.

Kyle Haak Named a Finalist for Senior CLASS Award
Air Force senior Kyle Haak has been named a finalist for the 2018-19 Senior CLASS Award. Haak is one of 10 college hockey players selected as a finalist for the national award. Nationwide fan voting begins immediately to help select the winner, and fans are encouraged to submit votes online at the Senior CLASS Award website through April 8.

Air Force Earns 64-61 Road Win At Fresno State
Air Force men's basketball knocked off Fresno State, 64-61, in a Mountain West road contest Wednesday night at Save Mart Center. Aided by 17 points from Caleb Morris, the Falcons won in Fresno for the first time since 1995.
