2018 War, Literature and the Arts Conference
The Academy will host the War, Literature and the Arts Conference Thursday and Friday, Sept. 20-21, 2018. The conference focuses on war studies and will feature presentations by authors, artists, scholars, journalists and filmmakers from around the world.


Cadets Take Resiliency to 'HeART' in Castle Rock
The Falcon Frenzy is a resiliency initiative organized by HeART-C, the Helping Agency Resiliency Team for Cadets, a group that aligns the Academy's helping agencies to strengthen cadets' mental, physical, social and spiritual well being.


Combating Hearing Loss On and Off Duty
Lt. Col. William Uhl, assistant philosophy professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy, speaks to cadets about protecting their hearing. Hundreds of airmen at the Academy deploy each year to a combat zone, a situation that often exposes them to unexpected loud noises.


Academy Dean Talks Teamwork, Ethics with Freshmen Cadets
The dean highlights the Academy's support system for cadets, which includes the Extra Instruction Program that revolves around faculty members assisting cadets; the Personal Ethics and Education Representative Program in which cadets can seek the advice of other cadets; and the Peak Performance Center, where cadets can get counseling for a slew of personal issues.

Falcons Late Rally Falls Short in 33-27 Setback at FAU
Air Force football (1-1) nearly pulled off an improbable comeback at Florida Atlantic in a 33-27 loss at FAU Stadium. Trailing by 13 points with 50 seconds left in the game, the Falcons special teams rallied to get the game within a score and put themselves in a position to win the game.

Air Force Golfers Earn Best Finish in Five Years at Falcon Invitational
The Air Force golf team posted its best finish in five seasons at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational at the Eisenhower Blue Course.
