USAFA Grad Killed in Western Iraq
On March 15, 2018, Capt. Mark Weber, a 2011 Air Force Academy graduate and Combat Rescue Officer assigned to the 38th Rescue Squadron, was killed when a HH-60G Pave Hawk crashed in western Iraq.

Air Force won the Atlantic Hockey championship for the seventh time in the last 12 years, and is making its seventh appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Falcons will face No. 1 seed St. Cloud State on Friday, March 23. The game will be televised live on ESPNU.

Falcons Collect Two USTFCCCA All-America Nods
Senior Shelley Spires earned First-Team All-America status in the high jump after finishing seventh in that event at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Spires, who also nabbed first-team accolades at last year's national meet, is the first Air Force female to garner multiple All-America honors in an indoor event at the Division I level. Sophomore Michael Rhoads was awarded the first All-America nod of his career, as he captured second-team status in the 800-meter run.
