Droves of young men and women making up the new Class of 2022 reported to Basic Cadet Training at the Air Force Academy on June 28, 2018. Roughly 34 percent of the new class self-identifies as a minority, and 79 new basic cadets are children of Air Force Academy graduates.

As cadets embark on six weeks of Basic Cadet Training, parents are exploring avenues for meaningful engagement with the Academy through Parent and Family Giving.

Expand the excellence of cadet training with a gift to the Air Force Academy Fund. Gifts enhance cadet programs, graduate programs and services, and provide direct support to the Academy for immediate strategic needs identified by the superintendent and the Academy senior leadership.

Cadets have opportunities to do unique graduate-level research within one of the Academy's 21 research centers and institutes. They also can expand their horizons through the Cadet Summer Research Program, doing focused research within the Department of Defense, related government agencies and private research laboratories.

Siblings Sworn to Serve
Although the decision to serve side-by-side as brother and sister wasn't a coordinated endeavor, their career paths aligned when Adrienne Stahl '03 entered the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1999. Her brother, Brian Stahl '00, a senior at the Academy, helped to push and motivate her along the way, giving her a unique freshman experience. Their military journey together started here, and from there their careers would cross paths time and time again.
