Martha McSally '88 will be the first U.S. Air Force Academy graduate to serve in the U.S. Senate.


Update: Cadet Chapel to Remain Open Until June
The Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel is now scheduled to remain open until June 17, 2019. Originally scheduled to close for renovations Jan. 1, it will now remain open until the summer for cadets, visits by tourists and the various services that take place at the facility.


Air Force Academy Ring Found Belonged to Cadet Who Died at 21
A couple found Philip VanderVelde's Air Force Academy Class of 1970 ring in an old rental property. They had been looking to reunite it with its owner, but now that mystery has been solved and they are looking for living relatives.

Distinguished Graduates
The United States Air Force Academy and the Association of Graduates are proud to announce the Distinguished Graduate honorees for 2018. Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Edward R. Jayne II '66, Col. (Ret.) Dr. H. Michael Lambert '70, Gen. (Ret.) Mark A. Welsh III '76 and Brig. Gen. (Ret.) John C. Inglis '76 will receive their awards at the annual Founders Day banquet Friday, April 5, 2019, at the Air Force Academy.
