The Air Force's Alpha Warrior Tour stopped at the United States Air Force Academy Aug. 14-15, 2018. Cadets, airmen and family members were invited to give the challenging obstacle course a try. The event was held in the Cadet Field House. A permanent Battle Station has been installed outside the Cadet Gym as a training device. Watch video.

Passing the Guidon: Gen Ray Takes Command of AFGSC
Gen. Timothy Ray '85 took command of Air Force Global Strike Command from Gen. Robin Rand '79, outgoing AFGSC commander, during a ceremony, Aug. 21. He is the newest leader of the Air Force's portion of the nuclear enterprise, which maintains the nation's only force of Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles and strategic bombers. Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. David L. Goldfein '83 presided over the ceremony and said Ray was the obvious choice to serve as the newest commander of AFGSC.
