Senior Cadet Selected as Academy's 39th Rhodes Scholar
A mechanical engineering major at the Air Force Academy was named an American Rhodes scholar by the Rhodes Trust. Cadet 1st Class Jaspreet Singh is the Academy's 39th cadet to receive the prominent scholarship, according to Helen Meisenhelder, director of the Academy's Graduate Studies Program.

Air Force Academy Cadets Continue to Support Colorado Springs
Cadets from the Air Force Academy were out in full force Nov. 17-19 supporting several community service projects throughout the Front Range. This school year, cadets have volunteered more than 13,000 hours to benefit more than 70 community service organizations in the Colorado Springs area.

With 3 Sons in the Air Force, Family Thankful for Blessings
In a way, it started with the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, as the three young sons of Jeff and Pamela Christensen were paying attention. Today, all three are in the U.S. Air Force. Their oldest, Ben Christensen, is a captain, Jeffrey Christensen is a second lieutenant and Dan Christensen is working his way through the Air Force Academy. Their parents are thankful this holiday season for their sons' service to the country.

Air Force Battles to Thrilling Comeback Victory Against Utah State
A second half surge lifted Air Force to a 38-35 come-from-behind victory in the home finale against Utah State, Saturday night at Falcon Stadium. In his debut appearance, sophomore quarterback Isaiah Sanders rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns in 44 carries, setting an all-time program record for the most carries in a single game. Senior kicker Luke Strebel notched a field goal and five extra points to set the new program record for career points at 254.
