Academy Celebrates Founders Day
The Air Force Academy hailed its origins April 7, 2017, with its annual Founders Day celebration. Founders Day is a traditional celebration of the legacy of the Air Force Academy and its founders. Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michelle Johnson '81 and William Thompson '73, the president and CEO of the Association of Graduates, presented four Academy alumni with the 2016 Distinguished Graduate Award at the Falcon Club.

Falcon Foundation Helps Potential Cadets Get to Academy
Since the 1960s, the Falcon Foundation has helped more than 4,500 cadet-candidates enter the Air Force Academy with its Falcon Scholars Program. Two Falcon scholars are Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein '83 and his predecessor, retired Gen. Mark Welsh III '76.

2016 Donor Honor Roll
The 2016 Donor Honor Roll, which recognizes donors who contributed non-membership gifts to the United States Air Force Academy Endowment and the Association of Graduates last year, is now available online to AOG members. Thanks to the ongoing support of graduates, parents and friends, the USAFA Endowment and the AOG continue to successfully fulfill their missions in support of the Academy.

The Parent & Family Giving program launched this week to help families play a transformative role in the success of their cadets through active philanthropy and volunteerism. The program exists to help families make a difference in the lives of their cadets while they are at the Academy.

Contributions to the Air Force Academy Fund play an important role in providing support to the Academy through the USAFA Endowment. With your investment, the USAFA Endowment amplifies its ability to help fund strategic needs for the Superintendent and important Academy programs. Recent Air Force Academy Fund dollars have supported cadet competitive academic teams, international immersion trips, character & leadership programs, cadet clubs, summer internships, cadet research and many others. Air Force Inducts Sixth Athletic Hall of Fame Class
The Air Force Academy inducted its sixth class into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday evening. Since its launch in 2007, the Athletic Hall of Fame has welcomed a total of 27 athletes, seven coaches, two teams and two athletics administrators to its rolls.
