AOG BoardAOG Board Update
Col. (Ret.) Robert Lowe '71 was elected Board Chair for the Association of Graduates Board of Directors during the May 14 meeting at Doolittle Hall. Immediate past Board Chair Col. (Ret.) Cathy McClain '82 passes the gavel to Lowe following his election to the post. Col. (Ret.) Will Gunn '80 was elected AOG vice chair, while Virginia Caine Tonneson '80 was re-elected secretary and Glenn Strebe '87 was re-elected as treasurer.

Prep SchoolPrep School: Pre-Graduation Welcome
The USAFA Prep School parents, family and friends gathered at the AOG's Doolittle Hall on May 11 for a meet and greet information session. We were also honored and privileged to have the USAFA Prep School Leadership in attendance along with Marie Nikovits, USAFA parent liaison, and Bill Preston, AOG director of Parent Programs, who were on hand to answer questions about the Prep School Cadet Candidates appointment to the USAFA Class of 2025. Believe it or not, summer — and therefore, summer reading — is just around the corner! We would love to have you join our ZoomieRead Book Club to network with other alumni via stimulating discussions on a wide range of professional development, leadership and personal growth books. From late May through the end of July, we will be reading Upstream: The Quest to Solve Problems Before They Happen, by New York Times bestselling author Dan Heath. F-100F-100 Plaque Dedication Ceremony
On Friday, June 11, at 1:00 p.m. MDT there will be a dedication ceremony paying tribute to the 88 F-100 aviators KIA during the Vietnam conflict. Eleven Academy graduates are included among the 88 losses. As a reminder to all graduates of the Academy's heritage, their names are listed on a bronze plaque that will be installed next to the 20 plaques already mounted on the east wall of the Southeast Asia Memorial Pavilion. Service Academies Global Summit (SAGS) 2021
This year's SAGS will be held virtually on June 15th. It is a great opportunity to hear from a strong lineup of graduate leaders such as Dana Born '83, Jay Silveria '85 and Chris Howard '91. See a full list of speakers and register now!

2021 Officer Women Leadership Symposium
Registration is now open for the August and November 2021 Officer Women Leadership Symposium (Mini-OWLS) series! We have designed this series for you based on your feedback — our overarching theme is "Reimagining Meaningful Leadership." We will bring together military women leaders for half-day, virtual sessions that feature experts, innovators and thought leaders with opportunities for facilitated roundtables.

Distinguished Graduate Award Banquet
The DG Award Banquet to honor Distinguished Graduates from 2019 and 2020 will be on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021. More details to follow soon. Read about the Distinguished Graduates here.
