Gerhart Fellowship
2nd Lt. Cole Armagost '21 is this year's recipient of the Gen. John K. Gerhart Fellowship. He accepted the scholarship funds from Marty Marcolongo '88, president and COO of the AOG. The two-year fellowship allows Armagost to study international relations at the University of Strasbourg in France. Funds for the fellowship come from a trust fund established in the name of Gen. John Gerhart.
Nominations for 2021 Distinguished Graduate Award Open
Nominations for the 2021 Distinguished Graduate Award are due to the AOG no later than Oct. 1. The award recognizes exceptional graduates who have set themselves apart by making extraordinarily significant contributions to our nation and/or their communities. AOG Service Spotlight
Col. (Ret.) Gail Colvin '80, recently honored with the Distinguished Graduate Award, is this month's AOG Service Spotlight. Colvin inherited a sense of service from her parents. "Service to the community is the rent you pay," she recalls her parents saying, "for living on this planet."

National Museum of WWII Aviation Special Event
On Saturday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m., the museum will feature a special presentation on how American pilots were recruited and trained during World War II. The T-6 Texan will fly after the presentation, weather and runway availability permitting. There is no additional charge for this event just purchase a museum ticket online.
