Save the Date: F-100 Plaque Dedication Ceremony
On June 11th at 1:00 p.m. MDT there will be a dedication ceremony paying tribute to the 88 F-100 aviators KIA during the Vietnam conflict. Eleven Academy graduates are included among the 88 losses. As a reminder of the Academy's heritage to all graduates, their names are listed on a bronze plaque that will be installed next to the 20 plaques already mounted on the east wall of the Southeast Asia Memorial Pavilion. Retired Lt. Gen. Arlen Jameson Memorial Contribution
We recently shared sad news of the passing of Retired Lt. Gen. Arlen Jameson. He was a member of the United States Air Force Academy Board of Visitors and the father of two 1986 graduates of the Academy. Jameson's funeral service, which will be livestreamed, is Friday, April 23. His family recommends that memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Air Force Academy Foundation.
