Show Cadet Support!
As COVID-19 cases rise at the U.S. Air Force Academy and around the world, the cadets have been quarantined to base in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The cadets also will not be allowed to travel home for Thanksgiving. As a result, the Cadet Wing is in need of support and motivation to help them get through the next couple weeks and finals week. The Association of Graduates and the Air Force Academy Foundation have established a resource where the USAFA family can support the cadets and stay connected during these unprecedented times.

Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented based on the recipient's outstanding professional achievement and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. On Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at 10 a.m., there will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the USAFA Cemetery. Organizers are requesting your support for this event. Col. Gail Halvorsen, aka "The Candy Bomber", recently celebrated his 100th birthday last month and has been nominated for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Service Spotlight: Classmates Raise Funds for Cross World Africa
A team of USAFA Class of 1981 classmates — dubbed the Band of Brothers — successfully (virtually) completed the 2020 Marine Corp Marathon on Oct. 25, 2020, on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Ashburn, Virginia. The team helped raise over $60,000 for Cross World Africa. Learn more about their efforts.
