Cheez-It Bowl Victory!
Air Force fans came out in full force in Phoenix. We had two well-attended events at Topgolf on Thursday and at the Churchill on Friday. The Air Force football team topped off a fantastic season by winning the Cheez-it Bowl 31-21 over Washington State and ending the season at 11-2. View photos shared during the bowl week activities!

Young Alumni Excellence Award Nominations — One Week Left!
Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of a recipient's outstanding professional achievements and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. Nomination deadline: Jan. 10, 2020.

The AOG also is seeking volunteers to evaluate candidates for the Young Alumni Excellence Award. Volunteers are needed to review and rate the applications between Jan. 15 and Jan. 30, 2020. If you are interested in volunteering for this program, please contact Corrie Grubbs by Jan. 10, 2020.

Contrails Copies Sought
Your AOG staff would like to obtain and preserve two full sets of Contrails — one at Doolittle Hall and another in a secure location in Colorado Springs. We are close to our goal and ask your help in completing our collection. If you possess and are willing to part with a copy of a Contrails from any of the following graduating class years, we would greatly appreciate receiving it: 1968, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1988, 1990, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Please contact Steve Simon if you can help out.

2020-21 Graduate Dependent Scholarships
Applications are now being accepted for the 2020-21 school year. College and high school applicants will be scored separately, so please make sure that you fill out the correct form. Bass Military Scholarship Program
In recognition of the patriotism, scholarship and leadership qualities and capabilities of veterans, Vanderbilt University launched the Bass Military Scholars Program in 2018 to provide financial aid to an annual cohort of highly talented veterans pursuing graduate and professional degrees across five Vanderbilt schools. Application window is Aug. 1, 2019, to Feb. 10, 2020. Learn more.
