It's more than a game. We are bringing community service projects to the hosting communities at our away game tailgates this football season. Last weekend in Annapolis, volunteers prepared more than 200 lunches for the homeless. Wherever there is Air Force Academy family, there is service for a lifetime. For our next tailgate in Hawaii, we'll be collecting outside play equipment for the Hickam Elementary School Falcons near Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Learn how you can help.

Young Alumni Excellence Award Nominations Now Open
Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of the recipient's outstanding professional achievements and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. Nomination deadline: January 10, 2020.

USAFA Grad Competes for Ms. Veteran America Title
Lt. Col. Naviere (Hall) Walkewicz '99 wants to offer a helping hand to fellow female military veterans who have fallen on hard times. That's why she's excited to be one of 25 finalists in the Ms. Veteran America 2019 competition. The contest ultimately selects a spokesperson and advocate for homeless women veterans through the nonprofit organization First Salute Inc.
