Wreaths Across America
On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at 10 a.m., there will be a wreath laying ceremony at the USAFA Cemetery. Organizers are requesting your support for this event. To sponsor a wreath, please go to wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/33065 and click on the "Sponsor Wreaths" red button. If you sponsor two wreaths, the Academy Cemetery will receive a third wreath free.
Young Alumni Excellence Award Nominations
Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of the recipient's outstanding professional achievements and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. Nomination deadline: Jan. 10, 2020.

In recognition of the patriotism, scholarship and leadership qualities and capabilities of veterans, Vanderbilt University launched the Bass Military Scholars Program in 2018 to provide financial aid to an annual cohort of highly talented veterans pursuing graduate and professional degrees across five Vanderbilt schools. Wings Over The Rockies
Each year, Wings Over the Rockies celebrates a significant contributor, or contributors, to the national aerospace scene with the Spreading Wings Award. This year, Wings is thrilled to honor Capt. "Sully" Sullenberger '73, the world-renowned pilot, safety expert, author, graduate of the USAFA and captain during the "Miracle on the Hudson."
