'Fast Neat Average' Tales
Form O-96 has a long and storied history at the United States Air Force Academy. We invite graduates to submit personal stories about the use of "Fast Neat Average" and we will publish the best stories in the March 2020 issue of Checkpoints.

2020-21 Graduate Dependent Scholarships
Applications are now being accepted for the 2020-21 school year. College and high school applicants will be scored separately, so please make sure that you fill out the correct form. Young Alumni Excellence Award Nominations
Each spring, the Association of Graduates has the pleasure of honoring graduates who attended the United States Air Force Academy within the last 15 years with our Young Alumni Excellence Award. The award is presented on the basis of the recipient's outstanding professional achievements and contributions to their community, whether in military or civilian life. Nomination deadline: Jan. 10, 2020.

The AOG also is seeking volunteers to evaluate candidates for the Young Alumni Excellence Award. Volunteers are needed to review and rate the applications between Jan. 15 and Jan. 30, 2020. If you are interested in volunteering for this program, please contact Corrie Grubbs by Jan. 10, 2020.

Wreaths Across America
On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at 10 a.m., there will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the USAFA Cemetery. Organizers are requesting your support for this event. To sponsor a wreath, please go to wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/33065 and click on the "Sponsor Wreaths" red button. If you sponsor two wreaths, the Academy Cemetery will receive a third wreath free.

Bass Military Scholarship Program
In recognition of the patriotism, scholarship and leadership qualities and capabilities of veterans, Vanderbilt University launched the Bass Military Scholars Program in 2018 to provide financial aid to an annual cohort of highly talented veterans pursuing graduate and professional degrees across five Vanderbilt schools.
