It is a busy week at the Air Force Academy with Parents' Weekend, the first football game of the new season on Saturday, the cadet chapel closing for restoration soon and both the chapter presidents and parents' club conferences here at Doolittle Hall.

Parents and Families — Parents' Weekend Giveaways!
Be sure to stop by the AOG table at the Information Fair in the Arnold Hall Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. Show your membership card, which can be found on our mobile membership app, and pick up some swag! We have a lot of fun giveaways for our AOG members as a thank you for your membership and for your support of our programs! Come quick while supplies last! First come, first served! AF Academy Society of Washington, D.C.'s Quarterly Event

National Museum of World War II Aviation
The Grand Opening/Hangar Dedication Ceremony for the Kaija Raven Shook Aeronautical Pavilion slated for October 19 has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. The new date is to be determined. However, we are excited to welcome visitors on October 10, 2019, to the "soft opening" of the new hangar at the National Museum of World War II Aviation and to other events we have planned in the coming months.
