Last Week's Reunions
Navy week brought back three classes (1963, 1968 and 1973) plus an affinity reunion (Rugby's 50th) to USAFA. Activities ranged from walking to the rock, fly fishing, numerous flyovers and a Rugby match on the Terrazzo. The 2,000-plus graduates and families also got to enjoy the first step to regaining the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, with Air Force dominating Navy in football!

Distinguished Graduate Award Nominations Sought
The deadline to nominate a USAFA graduate for the Distinguished Graduate Award has been extended to Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018. If you are interested in nominating a grad, please refer to the AOG website for information on the award and the submission process.

Election Information
Watch a video featuring Cathy McClain, Association of Graduates board chair, explaining the upcoming AOG election. AOG members will be voting on an important bylaw change Feb. 4, 2019, through March 18, 2019, and reaching the required quorum of 25% will be essential.

Heritage Minute
One key mission of the Association of Graduates is to highlight some of those things that make the Academy a special place. As a result, the AOG has launched a series of "Heritage Minute" videos that will be available weekly Tuesday mornings on our website, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram TV. Subscribe to our channel and follow us on social media so you don't miss out! Each episode of the "Heritage Minute" will feature a historic site or display found somewhere on the Academy campus. Someone Saw a Big Falcons Win Coming
Congratulations to Shannon R., a mom of a Class of 2022 cadet, from Tennessee! She was the winner of our "Sink Navy" contest with a game score guess of 34-7 for the Falcons. Air Force did one point better with a big 35-7 rout over Navy, but Shannon was our closest guess and gets a free Air Force t-shirt. 80% of our entries picked Air Force to win, but only Shannon expected such a big blowout victory!
