Superintendent Addresses Racial Slurs at USAFA
Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria '85 addressed cadets, faculty, staff and cadet candidates today in the wake of racial slurs found Monday written on the dormitory message boards of five African American cadets at the Academy's Preparatory School. Learn more and watch video.

Nominations Sought for 2017 Distinguished Graduate Award
The Distinguished Graduate Award recognizes exceptional graduates who have set themselves apart by making extraordinarily significant contributions to our nation, our school, and/or their communities. If you know an exceptional member of the graduate community who deserves recognition as a Distinguished Graduate, submit a nomination package no later than Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.

2017 Reunions are in Full Swing
Next week, the AOG and the Academy will welcome back the Classes of 1962 and 1967. With almost 800 in attendance, returning alumni will experience a Cyberworx tour, CCLD luncheon and much more! The following week, we welcome back the last three classes of the season: 1977, 1982 and 1987. With more than 1,700 expected to return, the Academy will be full of graduates and cadets alike. We look forward to supporting each of the graduates coming back to this great institution!

North Carolina Grads

F-4 Phantom Plaque Dedication
A plaque commemorating the contribution of Academy grads who flew the F-4 Phantom will be added to the Southeast Asia Pavilion at an upcoming ceremony. The dedication will take place at the pavilion along the Heritage Trail near Doolittle Hall at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017.
