Wreaths Across America
Thank you to the many volunteers who helped out during Saturday's "Wreaths Across America" event at the Academy Cemetery. The nationwide program recognizes the service of military veterans to our nation during the holiday season. Donated wreaths were laid at the gravesites of all veterans at the cemetery.

Graduate Dependent Scholarships
The Board of Directors of the Association of Graduates is pleased to once again offer Graduate Dependent Scholarships. These scholarships are annual awards of $500 and are intended to directly support post-secondary education for the children of AOG graduate members. For complete eligibility requirements and an application, visit usafa.org/membership/scholarships. The application deadline is March 4, 2018.

Young Alumni Excellence Award
Do you know a young alum who has distinguished himself or herself by obtaining a high level of professional or philanthropic achievement and who possesses high standards of integrity and character that positively reflect and enhance the prestige of the Air Force Academy? If so, this award is the perfect way to recognize him or her. If you would like to nominate an alum who has graduated recently from the Academy, please go to our website and nominate them today. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 19, 2018.

Class Advisory Senate Minutes Online
Read your November 2017 AOG Class Advisory Senate (CAS) minutes online. In the November minutes, you will see the notes of our guest speaker, Lt. Gen. Mike Gould '76, USAF (Ret.), President/CEO USAFA Endowment. He shared the structure of the USAFA Endowment, ongoing projects and invited local grad volunteers to help out with fund-raising calls to the graduate community. In addition, you will see updates from other leaders. Finally, check out the CAS roster and communicate with your Class Senator. All graduates are invited to attend the CAS meetings which are listed on the website.

Dine and Dunk — A Big Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Air Force Dine and Dunk pre-game event at Stout NYC on Dec. 17. It was a great turnout for our first time holding this event, even if the men's basketball game outcome at Madison Square Garden wasn't what we'd hoped for!

Attack Squadron Reunion
Calling all veterans of the 78th Fighter and 78th Attack Squadron! The squadron is turning 100 and hosting a reunion! Events will take place Feb. 16-19, 2018, in Las Vegas. Cross-Country Bicycle Tour to Support Veterans
Trans-America Cycling is recruiting a team of 22 cyclists for a cross-country bicycle tour from San Diego, California, to St. Augustine, Florida. The Save-22-a-Day Trans-America Bicycle Tour (developed by Jim Hansen '69) takes place Oct. 1 to Nov. 15, 2018, and will raise awareness of U.S. military veterans' high suicide rate of 22 victims per day.
